It is an important part of research support service for university libraries to support researchers in obtaining research funds.In order to better support researchers in obtaining research funds,the corresponding services of American university libraries are investigated through website survey and network consultation.Its services mainly focus on funding provision,resource integration and auxiliary participation,with a wide range of services,in-depth participation and sufficient external cooperation.Chinese university libraries should pay attention to fund support service,strengthen the ability of librarians to support research,make full use of external resources,integrate into the process of research support service,and attach importance to the demonstration of applicants research strength.
