From June 26 to July 1,President of China Institute of International Studies (CIIS) Xu Bu led a delegation to the United States and exchanged views with US officials and think tanks experts.In New York,Xu discussed China-US relations,the global situation,and think tank exchanges with various prominent experts in relevant fields,including President of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) Richard Haass,Vice President of the National Committee on United States-China Relations (NCUSCR) Jan Berris,Chairman of the Board of the National Committee on American Foreign Policy (NCAFP) Jefferey R.Shafer,NCAFP President and CEO Susan M.Elliott,Project Director of the Forum on Asia-Pacific Security at NCAFP Susan Thornton,and former Chairman of the Eurasia Group David Gordon.
