This paper provides a detailed introduction to the rope saw cutting excavation construction technology for rock in urban agglomerations.Considering the characteristics of small excavation areas and high requirements for noise and vibration control in densely populated areas,the technique utilizes a diamond wire driven by a hydraulic motor to rotate and grind the cutting body at high speed.The construction process does not involve the use of explosives,thereby avoiding the impact of blasting on surrounding buildings and ensuring personnel safety.Additionally,it reduces dust emissions,allows for simultaneous construction on multiple working faces,shortens the construction period,and reduces cost input.
