Research Progress on Financial Capability

金融能力对保障家庭财务安全及增进其金融福祉具有重要意义。早期研究关注金融素养,而金融能力是在金融素养基础上的理论拓展。金融能力强调从知识向行为的转化过程,并将外部金融环境纳入理论分析框架,极大地推进了居民金融行为与金融福祉的相关研究。已有研究围绕金融能力的概念模型、测度框架、影响因素,以及金融能力与家庭福利等问题展开。本文旨在系统梳理金融能力的研究成果,厘清从金融素养到金融能力的理论拓展逻辑,并结合我国国情与国内研究现状提出金融能力未来可能的研究方向和研究重点。

Financial capability is important for securing households'financial security as well as enhancing their financial well-being.Early research focused on financial literacy,while financial capability is a theoretical expansion on financial literacy.Financial capability emphasizes the transformation process from knowledge to be⁃havior and incorporates the external financial environment into the theoretical analysis framework,which has great⁃ly advanced the research related to residents'financial behavior and financial well-being.Studies have been con⁃ducted around the conceptual model of financial capability,measurement framework,influencing factors,and fi⁃nancial capability and household welfare.The purpose of this paper is to systematically sort out the research re⁃sults on financial capability,clarify the logic of theoretical expansion from financial literacy to financial capability,and propose possible future research directions and research focuses on financial capability in the context of Chi⁃na's national conditions and the current situation of domestic research.
