Improving the quality of life of the working class is the basic content of the Marxist trade union theory.The CPC regards improving the quality of life of the workers and the masses as an important task to implement the people centered development idea and solidly promote the common prosperity of all people.Engels’“The State of the Working Class in Britain”contains rich ideas on the quality of life of the working class,believing that the quality of life is an important evaluation dimension for grasping the overall situation of the working class.He pointed out that the living conditions of the working class are presented in a concentrated manner of“human problems”,emphasizing that the labor system is a deep logic that affects the quality of life of the working class,and advocating that improving the quality of life of the working class must adhere to the leadership of Marxist political parties.These important ideological resources provide theoretical references for Chinese trade unions in the new era to better fulfill their service functions and continuously improve the quality of life of the workforce.
