Bibliometric analysis of astragalus in the treatment of asthma

目的通过对中药黄芪治疗哮喘的研究文献进行筛选及可视化分析,探索该领域的研究热点及前沿动态,揭示近20年来黄芪治疗哮喘研究的演化过程,同时展望未来黄芪治疗哮喘的研究方向。方法检索2000年1月1日至2022年9月1日中国知网、万方数据库、维普中文期刊数据库、PubMed数据库中收录的关于黄芪治疗哮喘相关文献,利用Endnote和Excel 2019软件统计文献量、关键词数据及作者、期刊、机构发文情况并运用Excel 2019与VOSviewer 1.6.18软件制作可视化图谱。时间图谱展现了不同时期的研究热点。结果筛选得到703篇文献,2000年以来该领域年发文量稳定增长,高发文量期刊以《实用中医内科杂志》等为代表;活跃研究者包括董竞成、沈朝斌、杨琳等;高发文量机构以南京中医药大学为首,主要集中在各中医药、医科大学;关键词词频中,哮喘、黄芪、中医药治疗、黄芪注射液、儿童等出现频次较高。结论近20多年来,我国黄芪治疗哮喘领域内的研究水平逐步提高,形成了一定规模的核心作者团队,研究成果主要集中在黄芪治疗哮喘的药理机制、临床经验及疗效评价,而近年来迅速发展的网络药理学、Meta分析等新兴研究手段有望借助大数据分析找到更多黄芪治疗哮喘的有效靶点,优化治疗方式。运用系统生物学、生物信息学等新研究方法,深入黄芪治疗哮喘的物质基础研究;同时加强各地区间合作,开展更多随机平行对照研究,以期为黄芪在临床上应用于治疗哮喘提供更多的科学依据将是未来研究的重点方向。

Objective To explore the research hotspots and cutting-edge dynamics in this field by screen-ing and visualizing the research literature on the treatment of asthma by the traditional Chinese medicine Astra-galus,to reveal the evolution process of Astragalus in the treatment of asthma in the past two decades,and look forward to the direction of the development of the research on asthma treatment by Astragalus in the future.Methods Research literatures related to Astragalus in the treatment of asthma were retrieved from the database of CNKI,WANFANG,VIP and PubMed from Jan.1st,2000 to Sept.1st,2022.Endnote and Excel software 2019 were used to count the amount of literature,keywords data and the distributions of authors,journals and institu-tions.Meanwhile,Excel 2019 and VOSviewer software 1.6.18 were used to produce visual maps.Results A total of 703 articles were screened,with a steady increase in the annual publication volume in this field since 2000.High publication journal is represented by Journal of Practical Traditional Chinese Internal,etc.;active researchers include Dong Jingcheng,Shen Chaobin,Yang Lin,etc.;high publication institution mainly concentrates in Chinese medicine and medical universities,which is represented by Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine;and the keyword word frequency was high in the occurrences of asthma,Astragali,traditional Chinese medical treatment,Astragali injection and children.The time mapping shows the research hotspots in different periods.Conclusion The re-search standard of Astragalus in the treatment of asthma in China has been gradually improv-ing since 2000.A certain scale of core author team has been formed.Research achieve-ments mainly concentrate in pharmacological mechanism,clinical experience and evaluation of therapeutic efficiency of Astragalus in the treatment of asthma.With the help of big data analysis,the rapid development of emerging research methods such as network pharmacology and Meta-analysis in recent years is hopeful to find more effective treatment targets and to optimize asthma treatments using Astragalus.Applying other new research methods such as system biology and bioinformatics which enables us to go deep into the substantial basis research of Astragalus in the treatment of asthma strengthening the cooperation between different regions and carrying out more randomized parallel con-trolled studies,in order to provide more scientific evidence for the clinical application of Astragalus in the treat-ment of asthma will be the key direction of future research.
