PDCA循环法运用于降低医院病区药房近效期药品占比的实践

Application of PDCA cycle method in reducing the proportion of near validity period medicine in inpatient pharmacy

目的探讨PDCA循环法应用在降低医院病区药房近效期药品占比中的方法和效果。方法选定降低病区近效期药品占比为活动主题,通过PDCA循环法的计划、执行、检查、处置四个阶段对主题进行改进,对比改进前与改进后的数据指标。结果应用PDCA循环法后,病区药房近效期药品占比从2021年4月的3.11%降低到2021年11月的1.23%,相对于目标值1.30%目标达标率为103.87%、进步率为60.45%,经过6个月的效果维持期观察数据均低于目标值。结论应用PDCA循环法成功降低了医院病区药房的近效期药品占比,提升了病区药房近效期药品的管理水平、保障了患者的用药安全、减少了医院经济损失的可能,值得在医院药学系统推广。

Objective To explore the methods and effects of PDCA cycle in reducing the proportion of near validity period medicine in inpatient pharmacy.Methods The theme was to reduce the proportion of near-expiry drugs in the near term in the ward.We improved and reduced the proportion of near validity period medicine according to the four stages of PDCA cycle(plan,do,check and act).Then to compare pre-and post-improvement data indicators.Results After the application of PDCA method,the proportion of near validity period medicine in inpatient pharmacy decreased from 3.11%in April 2021 to 1.23%in November 2021.Compared with the target value of 1.30%,the target achievement rate was 103.87%and the progress rate was 60.45%.After 6 months of effect maintenance period,the observed data were all lower than the target value.Conclusion The PDCA method has been applied successfully to reduce proportion of near validity period medicine in inpatient pharmacy,improved the management level of near-efficacious drugs in inpatient pharmacy,ensured the medication safety of patients,and reduced the possibility of economic loss of the hospital,which is worthy of promotion in hospital pharmacy system.
