The influence of combination of etomidate and dexamethasone on cortisol secretion

依托咪酯(etomidate)因具有良好的心血管稳定性而被广泛应用于临床麻醉管理,但其对肾上腺皮质功能具有一过性抑制作用。地塞米松(dexamethasone)是围手术期广泛使用的糖皮质激素,能明显抑制下丘脑垂体肾上腺皮质轴的功能。临床工作中,这两种药物联合使用的情况十分常见。该文就这两种药物对肾上腺皮质醇分泌的影响作一综述。

Etomidate is widely used in clinical anesthesia management because of its good cardiovascular stability.However,it has a transient inhibitory effect on adrenocortical function.Dexamethasone is a widely used glucocorticoid during perioperative period,which can obviously inhibit the function of hypothalamic pituitary adrenal cortical axis.In clinical practice,the combination of these two drugs is very common.This article reviewed the effects of these two drugs on adrenal cortisol secretion.
