2016年山西省长治市屯留区西邓墓地发掘简报

Brief Report on the Excavation of Xideng Cemetery in Tunliu District,Changzhi City,Shanxi Province in 2016

2016年3-7月,山西省考古研究院联合长治、屯留等相关市、县文物部门对山西省长治市屯留区余吾镇西邓村南发现的一批战国、汉代墓葬进行了考古发掘。共清理墓葬110余座,主要年代为战国至汉代。从墓葬形制看以方形土坑竖穴墓为主,随葬器物以陶器为主,另有铜器、铁器若干。屯留西邓墓地的发现为晋东南地区战国至汉代时期墓葬形制、埋葬习俗等研究提供了新的实物资料。

From March to July 2016,the Shanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology,together with the cultural relics departments of Changzhi,Tunliu and other relevant cities and counties,conducted an archaeological excavation of a group of tombs of the Warring States and Han Dynasties discovered in the south of Xideng Village,Yuwu Town,Tunliu District,Changzhi City,Shanxi Province.A total of more than 110 tombs were excavated,mainly from the Warring States period to the Han Dynasty.Judging from the shape of the tombs,they are mainly vertical cave square earth pit tombs,and the burial utensils are mainly pottery,as well as some bronze and iron artifacts.The discovery of the Xideng cemetery in Tunliu District provides new physical data for the study of tomb shapes and burial customs from the Warring States period to the Han Dynasty in the southeastern region of Shanxi.
