A Study of Cosmopolitan Ideas in Foreign Literature

在外国文学领域不乏具有世界主义情怀的作家和作品,但一直以来却很少有论者从世界主义的角度去系统地研究这些作家作品。在21世纪,对外国文学从世界主义的角度进行深入研究是一种新思路,它能有效地突破后理论时代我们在外国文学研究中所遇到的方法论瓶颈,从跨文化维度拓展研究思路和研究范围。这种文学世界主义的视角可以让我们更加深入地检视文学文本内部包含的文化包容思想与跨文化交往诉求,揭示民族文学面具背后的世界文学真实面目和世界主义情怀,为我们更加深刻地认识全球化时代跨文化交流的必要性奠定基础,也为我们在世界范围内建构一种文化上的共同体提供思路和依据,从而为促进人类命运共同体理念在世界范围内的接受奠定文化基础。在这一研究中,少数族裔文学是值得我们首先关注的领域,其次可以扩展到对整个外国文学的研究。

There is no shortage of writers and works with cosmopolitan sentiments in the field of foreign literature,but there have been few commentators who have systematically studied these writers and works from a cosmopolitan perspective.In the twenty-first century,an in-depth study of foreign literature from a cosmopolitan perspective is a new approach that can effectively break through the methodological bottleneck we encounter in foreign literature studies in the post-theoretical era and expand the scope of research ideas and studies from a cross-cultural dimension.This perspective of literary cosmopolitanism allows us to examine in greater depth the ideas of cultural tolerance and cross-cultural communication demands contained in literary texts,reveal the true face of world literature and cosmopolitan sentiments behind the mask of national literature,lay the foundation for a deeper understanding of the necessity of cross-cultural communication in the era of globalization,and provide us with ideas and grounds for constructing a cultural community in the world.Also,it provides us with ideas and bases for constructing a world cultural community,thus laying the cultural foundation for promoting the acceptance of the concept of a community of human destiny within the world.In this study,minority literature is the priority that deserves our attention,which can be extended to the study of foreign literature as a whole.
