摘要
继构式语法的本体研究和一语习得研究成果迭出之后,国内外学者又致力于将其向二语习得领域扩展。本文对构式语法在二语习得中的应用存在如下疑问:1)构式语法以何为单位?2)构式能否基于实例自动概括?3)构式在句义预测方面是否比动词更现成?4)频率和数量是不是二语习得的决定性因素?5)成人习得二语时是否保守?6)如何看待一语对二语习得的影响?7)二语习得能否避开规则?8)构式语法研究二语习得的方法为何不“基于使用”?最后,本文对在二语习得领域中应用构式语法时应作何取舍提出了一些看法。
Following the successful implementation of Construction Grammar in ontology research and first language acquisition,scholars,both domestic and international,have striven to extend its application to the field of second language acquisition.This article raises the following questions with regard to the utilization of Construction Grammar in second language acquisition:1)What is the basic unit of Construction Grammar?2)Can constructions be automatically generalized on the basis of instances?3)Are constructions more readily available than verbs in terms of predicting the meaning of sentences?4)Are the frequency and quantity of instances determining factors in second language acquisition?5)Are adults conservative learners in second language acquisition?6)How does the first language influence second language acquisition?7)Is it possible for second language acquisition to bypass rules?and 8)Why is the Construction Grammar approach to second language acquisition research not"usage-based"?This article concludes with some thoughts on the trade-offs when applying Construction Grammar to second language acquisition.
