Fiji软件测量鳞翅目幼虫体长的探索

A preliminary study of using Fiji software for measuring the body length of Lepidopteran larvae

摘要 昆虫幼虫体长的测量是昆虫形态学研究的重要指标,也是幼虫龄期划分的重要依据之一,图像处理与分析技术为此类研究提供了便利。本研究利用Fiji的骨架提取与分析功能,对灰茶尺蠖各龄幼虫体长测量进行了初步研究。结果表明,该软件可以成功提取并分析出各龄幼虫躯干长度,通过计算最长最短分支路径,实现幼虫体长的估测。通过与分段测量结果进行对比分析,讨论了该软件在昆虫幼虫,尤其是鳞翅目幼虫的体长测量中应用的可行性。研究结果为昆虫幼虫体长等形态学指标的自动测量提供了重要依据,也为开展此类研究提供了参考。 As an important measurement index of insect morphological study,larval body length is a critical reference standard for the division of larval instars.Image processing and analysis technology provides convenience for such research.In this study,the function of skeleton extraction and analysis with Fiji was used preliminarily to measure the body length of each instar larvae of Ectropis grisescens.The results showed that this open-source software could successfully extract and analyze the body length of each instar larvae,and estimate the body length by calculating the longest and shortest branch path.The feasibility of the ImageJ distribution was discussed in the measurement of body length,especially of Lepidoptera larvae,by comparing and analyzing the result of the segmental measurement.The results in this article provided an important basis for the automated measurement of morphological indicators such as larval body length and also provided a reference for similar studies.
