This article summarized that XUANs’pediatric of Zhejiang school of traditional Chinese medicine clinical experience of treating children attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)from kidney.XUANs’pediatric think ADHD treatment should be treated from the etiology,and kidney qi deficiency,brain loss of nourishment is the key pathogenesis,‘kidney qi-yuanyang-marrow brain-zhi’is the key pathway.The method of tonifying the kidneys,increasing willpower and enlightening the mind is used throughout the treatment.According to the Biao-Ben-Xu-Shi,three phases,step-by-step kidney supplementation:In the early stage of treatment,the emphasis is on controlling symptoms,while in the relief stage,nourishing yin and gradual replenishment of kidney qi are emphasized,during the recovery stage,the focus is on nourishing the kidneys and enriching the brain,warm up the kidney yang at the right time.The flexible use of the method of harmony and the combination of movement and static,and the curative effect is exact.
