In recent years,academies have become a new type of educational management organization that colleges and universities explore to meet social development and respond to economic changes.The reform of the academy system has also become a major focus of modern higher education reform.The Chinese University of Hong Kong,China is the first university in China to carry out the reform of the academy system and successfully continue the academy system.After more than half a century of run-in and improvement,its academy system has formed a sound management system and distinctive cultural characteristics.This article summarizes the development process and characteristics of the academic system reform at The Chinese University of Hong Kong,China,and deeply analyzes the advantages of its academic talent training model.It provides many effective guidelines and references for the reform of the academy system in mainland Chinese universities.
