A Review of the Studies in Always Putting the People First since the Eighteenth National Congress of the Party

坚持人民至上是中国共产党百年奋斗的宝贵经验,是习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想的根本立场、价值底色和核心内容,也是贯穿其中的一条主线。党的十八大以来,学界围绕坚持人民至上的理论基础、核心要义、价值意蕴和实践要求等问题,进行了全方位、多角度的探讨,成果丰硕且有深度,重点聚焦而突出。为进一步深化研究,学界要遵循马克思主义基本原理,丰富研究内容,加强对核心概念的价值界定和本质探究;开阔研究视野,拓展对关涉领域的全面贯通和全局研究;注重研究方法,提升理论创新对实践创新的指导性和可操作性。

Always putting the people first is valuable experience accumulated by the CPC through a hundred years of struggle.It is the basic stance,bottom value and core content of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,and also a main line penetrating through the thought.Since the Eighteenth National Congress of the Party,the academic circle has made all-around,multi-dimensional discussions on the theoretical foundation,core connotation,value implication and practical requirements of always putting the people first,and has yielded a lot of in-depth academic products focusing on the key topics.To further deepen the research,the academic circle should follow the basic principles of Marxism,enrich the contents of research,strengthen the research on the definition and essence of the core concepts,and widen the vision of research to expand the holistic research of relevant fields.Besides,attention should be paid to the research methodology,so as to improve the guidance and operability of theoretical innovation upon practical innovation.
