The coordinated development of the regional economy, human settlements and tourism industry is of great significance to improving the quality of regional development. The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area,as an important spatial carrier for China to participate in global competition,is expected to be a model of high-quality developed urban agglomerations.Based on fully considering the statistical differences among Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao, appropriate indicators were selected to construct a comprehensive evaluation system for the development of the regional economy, human settlements and tourism industry(RHT).The entropy method was used to calculate the comprehensive development level and the coupling coordination degree of the RHT system from 2010 to 2019 in the 11 cities of The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The results showed that there was an apparent difference in the comprehensive development level of the RHT system and the coupling coordination degree of the 11 cities. And two echelons were formed:Guangzhou,Shenzhen,Macao and Hong Kong were the first tier, and the others form the second tier;also the gap between the two tiers remains relatively stable in time sequence. There is no trend of gradual narrowing of the gap.Based on this, the article further puts forward suggestions on the sustainable development and benign interaction of the regional economy, human settlements and tourism industry in the future.
