Kite across the Atlantic

初识冯克礼(Christian Fardel)先生是在杭州西兴的一次活动上,当时只知道他是法国人,年近七旬,精通法语、西班牙语、意大利语、英语和拉丁语,是作家,也是翻译家。除此之外,他还是具备丰富经验的航海家和飞行教练。2017年,他来到浙江大学进修汉语言和文学时,结识了席龙飞教授,了解到中国有着丰富悠久的海洋文化和历史,便开始留在中国做与帆船相关的工作,自此打开了另一扇命运之门。

Christian Fardel aged nearly 70,living in Xixing Ancient Town of Hangzhou,is a French navigator possessing top navigation skills as well as rich navigation experience.Through social activities and book translation,he devotes himself to the communication of Chinese and foreign navigationknowledge.In his childhood,he was impressed by The Magic of the Kite,a movie co-produced by China and France.At present,he has become a kite landed in Chinaacross theAtlantic.
