清代台湾地区分类械斗与民间信仰的互动关系探析

Research on Classified Fights and the Folk Religions in Taiwan in the Qing Dynasty

“分类械斗”是一种以籍贯划分阵营、不带有政治色彩的民间械斗。清代台湾地区的分类械斗与民间信仰之间存在密切的互动关系。民间信仰在分类械斗中具有双面的功能,既被当作组织工具以助推械斗,也能反过来调解械斗双方的矛盾。这种深度参与使分类械斗对民间信仰也产生了不容小觑的影响,既推动了原有民间信仰的发展与传播,又促使新神灵不断产生。

The classified fight means non-political private fight that classifies factions by people's native places.There was a close interaction between the classified fights and the folk religions in Taiwan in the Qing Dynasty.The folk religions had two-sided function in classified fights.It was not only used as an organizational tool to promote fights,but also could in turn mediate the conflicts between the two sides of people involved in fights.This kind of deep participation also had a significant impact on the folk religions,which not only promoted the development and dissemination of the original folk religions,but also created new gods.
