医学研究生对统计R软件和数据可视化软件的使用及教学需求分析 被引量:1

Analysis of usage and teaching demand on statistical R software and data visualization software among medical postgraduates

摘要 目的探讨医学研究生对R软件及数据可视化软件的使用和需求情况,为高校今后统计教学安排提供参考。方法于2021年12月31日—2022年1月31日选择本校在读研究生为研究对象,采用问卷星在线收集R软件及数据可视化软件的使用和需求情况问卷,利用χ2检验比较亚组间的差异。结果共收集456份问卷(有效回收率100%),23.90%的学生使用过R软件,28.29%的学生使用过数据可视化软件,超过一半的学生认为统计分析和数据可视化软件重要且感兴趣。超过一半学生倾向授课教师的年龄为50岁以下且开展理论知识结合软件操作及其他教学模式。不同专业学生对是否需要开设R软件相关课程和开设学时的差异有统计学意义(P<0.05),其中公共卫生专业对开设课程的需求比例最高(83.0%)。不同学位类别对R软件课程设置类型和开设学时差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05),其中学术型研究生希望将课程设置为选修的比例较高(66.0%)。学生在使用R软件过程中遇到的困难主要为难以理解和掌握编程语言、英文操作界面等。在使用数据可视化软件的过程中主要遇到的困难为软件内置模板太少、功能不能满足实际需求等。结论医学研究生对统计分析R软件和数据可视化软件的学习需要较高,因此高校开设针对不同专业和学位类别研究生的课程有望提高学生的数据分析和结果可视化展示的能力。 Objective To explore the usage and requirement of R software and data visualization software among medical postgraduates,and provide a reference for later statistical teaching arrangements in universities and colleges.Methods From 31 December 2021 to 31 January 2022,postgraduates studying in Anhui Medical University were selected as study subjects.Their usage and requirement of R software and data visualization software were collected through the online“Questionnaire Star”.Chi-square statistics were used to compare the difference between subgroups.Results A total of 456 questionnaires were collected(effective recovery rate was 100%),among which 23.90%and 28.29%ever used the R software and data visualization software,respectively.More than half of the students considered statistical analysis software and data visualization software are important and they were interesting in them.More than half of students preferred teachers younger than 50 years as well as the combination of teaching modes of theoretical knowledge,software operation,and other ways.There is a statistically significant difference in offering the R course and course hours among different majors(P<0.05),studentsmajored in public health performed the highest requirementon it(83.0%).There is also a statistically significant difference in requirement of offering R course and course hours among students will obtain different types of degree(P<0.05),and a relatively high proportion of postgraduates of academic type(66.0%)preferred to offer it as an optional course.Students were confronted with difficulties in using R software,including“hard to understand and grasp programming language”,“English operation interface”,etc.Principal difficulties in using data visualization software are“too few software built-in templates”,“functions cannot meet the actual requirements”,etc.Conclusions Medical postgraduates express a relatively high demand for learning statistical R and data visualization software,suggesting that universities and colleges could offer courses for students of different majors and different types of degree to improve students'data analysis and visualization capacity.
