Starting from contemporary sex/gender events, the social issues and analysis paths behind these events can be problematized from two perspectives.Contrary to existing analyses focusing on violence and gender, repositioning"sex"at the core framework and adopting a cultural constructivist perspective,we reexamine why women's sexual bodies have become the focal point of discourse explosion in public events such as online violence. This approach presents a fresh research perspective.Based on a concise review of women's sexuality and its evolutionary process from a comparative perspective between modern China and the West,we observe the hybrid characteristics of sex/gender issues in current Chinese society. These issues are increasingly politicized, highlighting tensions between reality and discourse, and analysis paths often fall into binary oppositions such as"structure-autonomy"and"dangerhappiness".Additionally,there is a noticeable shift in the discourse on"dangerous"sex/gender.In response,it is crucial to explore potential strategies and tactics for critiquing and reconstructing daily life, with the aim of fostering more just, flexible, and intimate interpersonal relationships and life worlds.
