中国家庭代际健康流动——指标测度、经验证据与机理阐释

Intergenerational Health Mobility of Family in China:Indicator Measure,Empirical Evidence and Mechanism Interpretation

本文利用中国家庭追踪调查数据(CFPS),以质量调整生命年(QALY)作为健康度量指标,研究中国家庭代际健康流动及动态趋势,并探究代际健康流动的内在机理。在此基础上,还构建健康与收入相结合的总体福利指标或纳入健康的跨代持久性进行拓展分析。结果显示,目前中国家庭仍存在代际健康传递现象,但是代际健康流动性有所增强,而且代际健康流动性随着出生年份的推迟呈现先下降后上升趋势,体现出社会变迁与生命历程的交互影响;代际健康流动性因性别、教育程度、社会经济地位与城乡不同而存在差异;榜样效应与信息传递是代际健康流动的传导渠道。另外,在重新估计新的福利度量指标或考量三代人健康的跨代持久性后,发现代际健康传递性进一步提高。

Utilizing the data of China Family Panel Studies(CFPS),this paper studies the intergenerational health mobility and its dynamic trend in Chinese families by using Quality-Adjusted Life Years(QALYs)as a measure of health,and further analyzes the internal mechanism of intergenerational health mobility.On this basis,the overall welfare index combining health and income is constructed or the intergenerational persistence of health is included for extended analysis.The results show that there is still a phenomenon of intergen-erational health transmission in Chinese families,but intergenerational health mobility is enhanced,and the mobility first decreases and then increases with the delay of birth year,which reflects the interactive influence of social change and life course.Intergenerational health mobility varies according to gender,education level,socioeconomic status and urban and rural differences.Role model effect and information transfer are the transmission channels of intergenerational health mobility.In addition,intergenerational health transmis-sion is further enhanced after reassessing the new welfare measures or considering the inter-generational health persistence of three generations.
