People-centered: The Value Pursuit of Chinese Path to Modernization

党的二十大报告明确指出,中国式现代化既有各国现代化的共同特征,又有自己的鲜明特色。中国式现代化始终坚持以人民为中心。一切为了人民是中国式现代化的根本价值取向,一切依靠人民是实现中国式现代化的根本前提,全体人民共享发展成果是中国式现代化的根本目标。以人民为中心的现代化,不仅是马克思主义的理论要求,而且是中国共产党始终不变的价值追求,更是中国持续推进现代化实践的必然要求。

The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly points out that Chinese modernization has both the common features of modernization of various countries and its own distinctive characteristics.The Chinese style of modernization has always been people-centered.Everything for the people is the fundamental value orientation of Chinese modernization.Relying on the people is the fundamental way to realize Chinese modernization.Sharing the fruits of development with all the people is the fundamental goal of Chinese-style modernization.People-centered modernization is not only a theoretical requirement of Marxism,but also an unchanging value pursuit of the Communist Party of China.It is also an inevitable requirement for China to continue to promote modernization.
