对苯二酚/辐照改性热塑性淀粉/PBAT复合材料性能

摘要 为提高淀粉与聚对苯二甲酸-己二酸丁二酯(PBAT)的共混性,采用4 kGy辐照淀粉为原料,以原淀粉为空白对照,以甘油、对苯二酚(HQ)为增塑剂,制作热塑性淀粉(TPS)。以改性聚酯(WPT)为增容剂,将TPS与WPT,PBAT均匀混合,并采用双螺杆挤出机混炼,制备TPS/PBAT共混物。采用扫描电子显微镜、万能材料试验仪、X射线衍射仪、傅里叶变换红外光谱仪等表征样品的相容性和力学性能。结果表明:辐照TPS对共混体系的相容性有所改善,当HQ的质量分数为5%时,TPS的拉伸强度由11.6 MPa提升至14.3 MPa,断裂伸长率由3.3%提升至5.5%;辐照TPS的拉伸强度由8.9 MPa提升至13.7 MPa,断裂伸长率由3.9%提升至6.6%。进一步引入增容剂WPT,复合材料性能改善明显。当PBAT与TPS质量比为1∶1时,增容效果最佳,原TPS/PBAT的拉伸强度为19.7 MPa,断裂伸长率为456.4%;辐照TPS/PBAT的拉伸强度为27.8 MPa,断裂伸长率为518.8%。HQ可以和淀粉产生物理交联,既可改变TPS亲水性,还可提升TPS力学性能;增容剂WPT可改善淀粉与PBAT的相容性,使TSP/PBAT复合材料力学性能有明显改善。 In order to improve the blendability of starch and polyterephthalic acid-butylene adipate(PBAT),thermoplastic starch(TPS)was made by using 4 kGy irradiated starch as raw material(using starch as a blank control),and glycerin and hydroquinone(HQ)as plasticizers.Using modified polyester(WPT)as compatibilizer,TPS was evenly mixed with WPT and PBAT,and mixed into a twin screw extruder to prepare TPS/PBAT blend.Scanning electron microscope,universal material tester,X-ray diffractometer,Fourier transform infrared spectrometer,etc.were used to characterize the compatibility and mechanical properties of samples.The results show that the compatibility of irradiation-modified starch with the blending system is improved,and when the content of hydroquinone is 5%,the tensile strength of TPS increase from 11.6 MPa to 14.3 MPa,and the elongation at break increase from 3.3%to 5.5%.The tensile strength of irradiated starch TPS increase from 8.9 MPa to 13.7 MPa,and the elongation at break increase from 3.9%to 6.6%.The compatibilizer WPT was further introduced,and the performance of the composite material was significantly improved.When the mixing ratio of PBAT and TPS is 1∶1,the capacity enhancement effect is the best,and the tensile strength of raw starch TPS/PBAT is 19.7 MPa,the elongation at break is 456.4%.The tensile strength of irradiated TPS/PBAT is 27.8 MPa,and the elongation at break is 518.8%.Hydroquinone can be physically crosslinked with starch,which can not only change the hydrophilicity of TPS,but also improve the mechanical properties of TPS.The compatibilizer WPT can improve the compatibility between starch and PBAT,and significantly improve mechanical properties of TSP/PBAT composites.
