Hartmut Walravens:A German Oriental Bibliographer

德国目录学家魏汉茂博士终生从事图书目录事业。作为东方文献学家,截至2019年,魏汉茂编撰了各类汉学研究书籍145本、汉学相关书评和各类文章577篇;另有日本学相关研究64种,阿尔泰学、蒙古学、满洲研究194种,藏学研究23种,俄罗斯学21种;另有45种情色学研究和305种目录学、媒体学和编目学论述。本文采用人物志研究方法,论述魏汉茂的成长经历,分析他开展的与东方学相关的目录整理工作,指出他在世界东方学研究中的重要地位。

Hartmut Walravens,a German bibliographer,has been engaged in book cataloging all his life.As an Oriental documentarian,he edited 145 books on various Sinological studies and wrote 577 book reviews and various articles related to Sinology by 2019.Besides,he published 64 books related to Japanese studies,194 books on Altaic,Mongolian and Manchurian,23 books on Tibetan studies and 21 researches on Russian studies.He made 45 studies in erotology and 305 studies on cataloguing and media.From the perspective of biographical studies,this paper discusses Walravens’s life story,analyses the cataloguing he carried out in relation to oriental studies,and points out his important position in the study of world Orientalism.
