Since the official announcement of Ethernet-APL technology,there have been a number of implementation cases in Chinese market,marking that the technology has come to the stage of trial promotion.The power grade regulation and practical planning examples of 6 APL mains with power supply are introduced.The limitations with 6 examples are analyzed.The scheme of connecting APL field exchangers directly to the standard exchangers of industrial Ethernet control networks through optical fiber is introduced.Through the summary of two kinds of APL topologies,it provides reference for the application and promotion of APL.
