Petrochemical tank fires,as a high-risk industrial accident,will cause huge losses to the environment,personnel,and property once they occur.The firefighting and rescue disposal strategy is particularly crucial in this situation,but its complexity and danger also make the challenge of firefighting difficult.This article analyzes the key factors and challenges of firefighting and rescue strategies in response to the severity and complex-ity of petrochemical tank fires.By exploring traditional and high-tech firefighting methods,in-depth analysis was conducted on rescue strategies such as personnel evacuation,joint rescue,and resource allocation.Finally,looking forward to future trends,we call for cross disciplinary cooperation to enhance the ability to respond to petrochemical tank fires.
