摘要
在清水江流域的苗族中,刺绣发挥着多重功能,它既是一种实用的艺术,用于服饰及生活用品的装饰,并在人生礼仪及节日庆典中使用,又是苗族民众图腾崇拜、祖先崇拜、生殖崇拜及祈福纳吉的心理表达。同时,它亦充满象征意蕴,是苗族民众身份、财富、地位的象征,是支系归属的标志和婚姻圈的界限。
In the Miao society of Qingshui River Basin,embroidery plays multiple functions.It is not only a practical art,which is used to decorate clothing and daily necessities,and used in life etiquette and festival celebrations,but also an expression of Miao people's totem worship,ancestor worship,reproductive worship and praying for good fortune.At the same time,it is also full of symbolic meaning,is a symbol of Miao people's identity,wealth,status,is a sign of branch belonging and the boundary of marriage.
