Application and Research Progress of Finite Element Analysis on the Effects of Orthognathic Surgery on Temporomandibular Joint

随着医学的不断发展与进步,越来越多的患者因牙颌面畸形导致的功能、外貌不佳而选择接受正颌外科手术。正颌外科手术的日益增多,研究其对颞下颌关节的影响变得愈发重要。正颌外科手术可能会通过改变了上下颌骨的位置关系直接影响颞下颌关节,从而改善或加重颞下颌关节紊乱病的症状。因此,正颌外科手术与颞下颌关节之间存在密切的关联。颞下颌关节紊乱病(TMD)是一组以颞下颌关节及其周围组织出现疼痛、弹响和功能障碍为特征的疾病。目前,由于研究方法的限制,许多学者借助有限元分析来研究正颌外科手术对颞下颌关节的影响。这种分析有助于医生在手术前选择合适的治疗方案、预测手术效果,并为颞下颌关节紊乱病的治疗提供参考。本文旨在综述三维有限元法在研究正颌外科手术对颞下颌关节影响方面的应用,并探讨其在临床实践中的潜在价值。

Objective With the continuous development and progress of medicine,an increasing number of patients choose orthognathic surgery due to facial dysfunction caused by jaw malformation.As orthognathic surgery becomes more common,the study of its impact on the temporomandibular joint(TMJ)has become increasingly important.Orthognathic surgery may directly affect the TMJ by altering the positional relationship between the upper and lower jaws,thereby improving or worsening the symptoms of temporomandibular joint disorder.Therefore,there is a close association between orthognathic surgery and the temporomandibular joint.Temporomandibular joint disorder(TMD)is a group of disorders characterized by pain,clicking,and functional impairment in the temporomandibular joint and its surrounding tissues.Currently,due to limitations in research methods,many scholars use fifinite element analysis to study the effffects of orthognathic surgery on the TMJ.This analysis helps doctors choose appropriate treatment plans and predict surgical outcomes,providing references for the treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders.This article aims to review the application of three-dimensional fifinite element analysis in studying the effffects of orthognathic surgery on the temporomandibular joint and explore its potential value in clinical practice.
