李西茨基在20世纪初欧洲的先锋派艺术与设计运动中扮演着重要的角色。在苏联成立后,他投入到社会主义国家的文化建设之中,以“史诗叙事”塑造苏联的国家形象。本研究试图回顾李西茨基各时期艺术活动的主要成就,通过对李西茨基不同时期的创作进行评述,分析其风格变迁的各种因素以及他在苏联设计史上的作用,尤其是在整个20世纪30年代,他作为苏联国家形象的积极宣传者所做的贡献,以期重新认识这位对现代设计艺术发展做出重要贡献的艺术家和设计师。

El Lissitzky played an important role in the avant-garde art and design movement in Europe in the early 20th century.After the founding of the Soviet Union,he devoted himself to the cultural construction of the socialist state,shaping the national image of the Soviet Union with"epic narration".This study attempts to review the main achievements of Lissitzky's artistic activities in various periods,and analyze various factors of his style changes and his role in the Soviet Design history,especially his contributions as an active propagandist of the Soviet Union's national image throughout the 1930s,by commenting on Lissitzky's creation in different periods,in order to gain a new understanding of this artist and designer who has made significant contributions to the development of modern design art.
