The policy of expanding enrollment by one million for the higher vocational colleges is a strategic measure of the country,which has brought profound influence on China’s higher vocational education and colleges.This article elaborates on the significant differences between the new student group and traditional student sources,analyzes the influencing factors of ideological and political education for the new student group from the perspectives of the families,the schools,and the society,and discusses the problems and coping strategies.The article points out that it is necessary to fully grasp the ideological dynamics and educational laws of the new student group,strive to improve the education level,strengthen the interaction between schools and families,schools and society,schools and enterprises,and innovate talent cultivation models.
