1936年,在党内开始形成以毛泽东同志为核心的党的领导集体、国民党坚持“攘外必先安内”的错误政策、日本加紧侵略中国步伐的情况下,为了实现“停止内战,共同抗日”的目标,中国共产党积极开展书信统战工作。通过书信统战,扩大了中国共产党的政治影响,改善了国共关系,推动了全民族抗战的到来。中国共产党书信统战工作具有重要的当代启示,表现于必须坚决维护中共中央的权威,必须正确认识中国国情,必须坚持推进新形势下的统战工作。

In 1936,in order to achieve the goal of"stopping the civil war and resisting Japan together",the CPC actively carried out the united front work through correspondence under the circumstances that the CPC leadership with Mao Zedong as the core began to form within the CPC,the Kuomintang adhered to the wrong policy of"stabilizing the country first,resisting foreign aggression afterwards",and Japan stepped up its pace of aggression against China.The united front through correspondence expanded the political influence of the CPC,improved the relationship between the CPC and the Kuomintang,and promoted the nationwide Anti-Japanese War.The united front work of the CPC through correspondence has important contemporary enlightenment,which shows that we must firmly uphold the authority of the CPC Central Committee,correctly understand China's national conditions,and persist in promoting the united front work under the new situation.
