哈斯宝《新译〈红楼梦〉》人物形象变异研究

Study of Character Variations in Hasbao's The New Translation of Dream of the Red Chamber

哈斯宝将一百二十回《红楼梦》节译成四十回,称其为《新译〈红楼梦〉》,并撰写了序、读法、总录及四十篇回批。他在翻译《红楼梦》时对故事情节作了某些变异。在十二金钗形象、以宝玉为代表的男性贵族形象及下层人物形象的变异处理中,哈斯宝有意择取了原著中符合自己人物观的情节,通过改写原著中的情节塑造了自己心目中的人物形象。

Hasbao translated the hundred and twenty chapters of Dream of the Red Chamber into forty chapters,calling it The New Translation of Dream of the Red Chamber,and wrote a preface,pronunciation,total record,and forty chapters for review.He made some variations on the plot when translating Dream of the Red Chamber.In the variation of the image of the Twelve Golden Hairpins,the male aristocrats represented by Jia Baoyu,and lower class characters,Hasbao intentionally chose plots of the original work that were in line with his character views,and shaped his own image of the characters by rewriting the plots in the original work.
