性随地异理论是我国传统医药学的重要组成部分,是中药材种植和质量评价的重要理论依据。“道地性”是性随地异理论的一种表现形式,是评价药材质量的重要指标。对性随地异理论和道地性形成的历史脉络进行了梳理,对二者的内涵、本质进行了分析,在此基础上,进一步指出性随地异理论的科学本质是生态学,生态因子是形成药材道地性决定性条件。
