摘要
介绍冶金机械英语文本的语言特点,指出英译汉中容易出现的问题。介绍卡特福德翻译转换理论的特点,实例说明“层次转换”和“范畴转换”的具体应用。
This paper introduces the linguistic features of the English texts in the field of metallurgical machinery and points out the common problems during English-Chinese translation,and also introduces the characteristics of the Catford’s translation shifts theory and provides examples for application of“level shift”and“rank shift”.
