Analyzing the Cultural Characteristics in the Interior and Exterior Design of Zhangjiajie West Station

张家界西站在设计上努力实现客站作为城市门户和铁路窗口的建筑艺术价值,使之成为永久的、固化的艺术品,由于其自身便存在一定的艺术表现力,因此也成了铁路文化建设中非常重要的内容。在站房内外装设计上,通过充分提取当地的自然和人文元素,将张家界独有的自然地貌,以及西兰卡普、吊脚楼和八方柱等人文元素经过精炼应用在站房,用地域性的表达实现了旅客进出站流线中的移步易景,体现了旅游城市特有的文化气质,打造出一道亮丽的城市风景线。

Zhangjiajie West Station strives to achieve the architectural artistic value of the passenger station as a city gateway and railway window in its design,making it a permanent and solidified artwork.Due to its inherent artistic expression,it has also become a very important content in railway cultural construction.In terms of interior and exterior design of the station building,by fully extracting local natural and cultural elements,the unique natural mountain scenery of Zhangjiajie,as well as cultural elements such as Xilan Kapu,Diaojiao Tower,and Octagonal Column,have been refined and applied to the station building.By using regional expression,passengers can easily move in and out of the station flow line,reflecting the unique cultural temperament of tourist cities,and creating a beautiful urban landscape.
