摘要
现有的专利分类体系IPC和CPC缺乏针对处理器领域的专业划分,为此,本文从处理器的开发和设计角度出发,根据处理器设计过程中技术实现的不同功能模块,提出了处理器技术领域专业的专利分类体系RPC,并根据RPC分类对MIPS公司和ARM公司的专利进行了统计与分析,发现利用RPC分类对专利进行统计与分析,其效率以及其作为技术情报的参考价值明显优于利用IPC和CPC两大现有专利分类体系的统计与分析之结果。也就是说,基于RPC分类的专利研究与分析,可以更好地在加强专利保护的同时方便本领域技术人员使用专利文献。
The existing patent classification systems IPC and CPC lack professional divisions for the processor field.Thus,this study proposed a professional patent classification system in the field of processor technology from the perspective of processor development and design,and conducted statistics and analysis of patents of MIPS and ARM according to the RPC system.And RIOS Lab found that the efficiency and the reference value as technical intelligence of using RPC to count and analyze patents are significantly better than using the two existing patent classification systems of IPC and CPC.In other words,patent research and analysis based on RPC can better facilitate the use of patent documents by technical personnel in the field while strengthening patent protection.
