人工智能、区域创新能力与产业结构升级——基于中国工业机器人的经验证据

摘要 基于2006—2019年中国30个省(市、自治区)的面板数据,综合运用双向固定效应和调节效应模型实证检验了人工智能、区域创新能力与产业结构升级之间的关系,并进一步运用面板门槛模型剖析人工智能和产业结构升级之间的非线性关系。研究表明:人工智能应用水平整体呈上升趋势,但存在明显的地域差异,东部地区人工智能水平最高,中部地区增速最快;人工智能对产业结构升级具有显著的促进作用,且该作用呈现出边际递增的非线性特征;区域创新能力在人工智能与产业结构升级中具有正向调节作用,是人工智能促进产业升级的重要推动因素。进一步分析发现,人工智能与产业结构升级之间存在显著的区域创新能力双重门槛效应。因此,在加强人工智能建设的同时,应提高区域创新能力、强化智能化人才储备,以更好地适应人工智能发展的需要、促进产业优化升级。 Based on the 30-province panel data of China from 2006 to 2019,this paper empirically tests the relationship between artificial intelligence,regional innovation ability and industrial structure upgrading by using bidirectional fixed effect model and moderating effect model,and further analyzes the non-linear relationship between artificial intelligence and industrial structure upgrading by using panel threshold model.The research shows that:The overall application level of artificial intelligence is on the rise,but there are obvious regional differences;the eastern region has the highest level of artificial intelligence,while the central region has the fastest growth.Artificial intelligence has a significant positive effect on industrial structure upgrading,and the effect presents a nonlinear feature of marginal increase.Regional innovation ability has a positive moderating effect on the relationship between artificial intelligence and industrial structure upgrading,and is an important driving factor for artificial intelligence to promote industrial structure upgrading.Further analysis shows that there is a significant double threshold effect of regional innovation ability between artificial intelligence and industrial structure upgrading.Therefore,while strengthening the construction of artificial intelligence,we should improve regional innovation ability and strengthen intelligent talent pool to better meet the needs of artificial intelligence development and promote industrial optimization and upgrading.
