点穴㨰筋手法配合针刺治疗老年双下肢凹陷性水肿一例

Acupoint tapping and tendon rolling combined with acupuncture in the treatment of pitting edema in both lower extremities in the elderly:A case report

目的观察点穴■筋手法配合针刺治疗老年双下肢凹陷性水肿的临床疗效。方法报告1例来自某特勤疗养中心疗养的退休干部人员双下肢水肿的病例,应用中医适宜技术选用推拿手法配合针刺治疗,比较治疗前后患者症状、体征,测定治疗前、治疗7 d肢体周径数值(髌骨上缘10 cm处,胫骨粗隆下缘10 cm处、胫骨内髁上缘2 cm处肢体周径)变化情况。结果双下肢周径均较治疗前明显缩小:左侧髌骨上缘10 cm处4.8 cm、胫骨粗隆下缘10 cm处5.4 cm、胫骨内髁上缘2 cm处5.7 cm;右侧分别缩小5.8 cm、6.9 cm、5.8 cm,治疗后患者双侧下肢水肿均较治疗前明显好转。结论应用点穴■筋手法配合针灸治疗可以明显改善患者双下肢水肿,疗效确切。

Objective To observe the clinical effect of acupoint tapping and tendon rolling combined with acupuncture in the treatment of pitting edema in both lower extremities in the elderly.Methods A case of pitting edema in both lower extremities in a retired cadre who was recuperating in a Secret Service Rehabilitation Center was reported.The patient was managed by the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)technique of massage and acupuncture.Clinical symptoms and signs before and treatment were compared.Before and 7 days after treatment,changes in the limb circumferences at 10 cm from the superior edge of the patella,10 cm from the lower edge of the tibial tuberosity,and 2 cm from the upper edge of the tibial medial condyle were measured.Results The circumference of both lower extremities was significantly reduced compared with before treatment.In detail,limb circumferences at 10 cm from the superior edge of the patella,10 cm from the lower edge of the tibial tuberosity,and 2 cm from the upper edge of the tibial medial condyle at the left side were reduced by 4.8 cm,5.4 cm and 5.7 cm,respectively;which,at the right side were reduced by 5.8 cm,6.9 cm and 5.8 cm,respectively.Pitting edema in both lower extremities was effectively improved after treatment.Conclusion Acupoint tapping and tendon rolling combined with acupuncture can effectively improve pitting edema in both lower extremities in the elderly,with a definite efficacy.
