高等教育经费使用效率的影响机制研究——以湖南省14个市州为例

Study on the Influencing Mechanism of Higher Education Funds Use Efficiency:Taking 14 Cities and States in Hunan Province as an Example

本文选取2013—2021年湖南省各市州高等教育经费使用效率的数据,通过建立面板数据模型,分析影响湖南省各市州高等教育经费使用效率的因素,得到如下研究结论:首先,第二三产业占比(IS)越高的地区,其对高等教育经费的使用效率有显著的促进作用。与此同时,当考虑产业结构(IS)的非线性影响时,发现产业结构水平对高等教育的经费使用效率不存在非线性影响。其次,地方财政收入的提升有助于促进地区高等教育经费使用效率的提升。最后,城镇化水平(UR)对地区高等教育经费的使用效率没有显著的影响。

This paper selects the data of higher education funds use efficiency of each city and state in Hunan Province from 2013 to 2021,establishes panel data model,analyzes the factors affecting the higher education funds use efficiency in Hunan Province,and draws the following conclusions.First of all,the region with a higher proportion of secondary and tertiary industries,has a more significant contribution to the funds use efficiency of higher education.Meanwhile,there is no nonlinear effect of the level of industrial structure on the funds use efficiency of higher education when it comes to nonlinear effect.Secondly,the increase of local financial revenue helps to promote the funds use efficiency of regional higher education.Finally,The level of urbanization has no significant effect on the funds use efficiency of regional higher education.
