摘要
Choledochal cysts are benign cystic dilatations of the extra-and intrahepatic bile ducts[1,2].If untreated, their sequelae include recurrent cholangitis, secondary biliary cirrhosis, acute pancreatitis, and cholangiocarcinoma[3,4].Todani et al.[5]classified choledochal cysts into 5 subtypes,of which type V is Caroli’s disease. The disease is either localized, where unilobar biliary dilatation, commonly in the left,is present,or diffuse, where the entire liver is involved.
