Laparoscopic right-sided overlap with single flap valvuloplasty(ROSF)is a novel procedure designed for the reconstruction after proximal gastrectomy for early gastric cancer of the upper third of the stomach and gastro-esophageal junction carcinoma.A right-sided circular flap is fabricated to cover the side-side overlap anastomosis of esophagus and gastric mucosal layer with the intention of preventing reflux and anastomotic structure.ROSF operation simplified the surgical manipulation and proved to be a safe and effective procedure in terms of improved operative safety and better quality of life.
