以黑素素原前位体5,6-二羟基吲哚为对象,通过对大量国内外文献鉴别、整合和重新组合,综述了5,6-二羟基吲哚的生物学特点、理化性能及其在染发、抗菌、抗氧和抗紫外线辐射方面的功效。介绍了有关国际化妆品组织对5,6-二羟基吲哚在染发应用方面的毒理学评价和推荐的安全使用浓度。阐述了5,6-二羟基吲哚具有无毒、无副作用的优点,既能取代苯胺、苯酚类化合物作为染发剂的新材料,又能制备预防或治疗细胞与组织免受氧化应激反应疾病的药物。预测5,6-二羟基吲哚作为新一代染发护发用品中的有效活性成分,将具有良好的发展前景,本文为新洗护用品的开发和市场应用提供了科学依据。

5,6-Dihydroxyindole is the precursor of melanin.Based on a large number of domestic and foreign literature works,the biological characteristics,physicochemical properties,and the efficacy in hair dyeing,anti-bacteria,antioxidation and anti-ultraviolet radiation were reviewed.The toxicity and the recommended safe concentration of 5,6-dihydroxyindole in hair dyeing applications assessed by international cosmetics organizations were introduced.The advantages of 5,6-dihydroxyindole,such as non-toxicity and no side effects,were elucidated.It can replace aniline and phenolic compounds as a new material for hair dyes and can also be used to prepare drugs to prevent or treat diseases of cells and tissues from oxidative stress response.It was predicted that 5,6-dihydroxyindole would have good development prospect as an effective active ingredient in the new generation of hair dyeing and hair care products.This review could provide scientific basis for the development and market application of new cosmetic products.
