Teachers' ethics is the first criterion for evaluating the quality of the teaching staff.The ideological and political quality and morality of college teachers not only restrict the construction of the teacher team,but also affect the results of "people and morality cultivation",as well as the future of the country and the nation.In the new era,the construction of teachers' ethics in our country has achieved some positive results,but there are still outstanding problems.In the new era,the construction of teachers' ethics in colleges and universities should be based on General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on the construction of teachers' ethics,and we must adhere to the unity of the external expression form and the internal spiritual essence of teacher ethics.Ways to enhance the effectiveness of university teachers' ethics construction include:strengthening the cognition of teacher ethics,sublimating teachers' moral emotions,sharpening teachers' moral will,and devoting into the practice of teachers' ethics.
