Hot-rolled wire rod is the raw material for the production of prestressed steel wire and steel strand.The surface crack defect is one of the most common problems in hot-rolled wire rod.This paper makes an in-depth study on the causes of the defect and makes corresponding improvement measures to improve the quality stability of hot-rolled wire rod.
