《五部遗教》是吐蕃王朝时期的断代史,属于伏藏文献,主要记述了吐蕃赞普赤松德赞及其他赞普执政时期的历史,相传成书于公元八世纪。尽管学界对其成书年代存在争议,但其记载的史料内容丰富而珍贵,是研究西藏历史、文化、宗教必不可少的一部很有价值的古籍文献。《五部遗教》的体例编排颇具特色,历史叙事方式独特,具有题材分类清晰、文学色彩浓烈、融三藏经典教法内容等特征,对研究藏族早期断代史的叙述方式具有一定的参考意义。

The《Bka-thang-sde-lnga》is a dynastic history of the Tubo.It mainly describes the history of the reign of Tsanpo Khri-srong-lde-btsan and others of Tubo.It was written in the eighth century.Although there is controversy in the academic circles about the date of its writing,the historical materials recorded in it are rich and precious,and it is an indispensable reference book for the study of Tibetan history,culture and religion.The arrangement of stylistic rules and layout of the book is quite distinctive,and the historical narrative mode is unique.It has the characteristics of clear classification in subject matter,strong literary color,and the content of Tripitaka sutra,etc.And has certain reference significance for studying of the narrative mode of the early Tibetan history.
