南京白局是流传于南京及周边郊县的民间说唱艺术形式。当前主流观点认为南京白局的历史可追溯到元代,南京白局是一项起源于元曲【南京调】、具有“元曲遗韵”的古老曲艺形式。这一话语其实是人为建构的产物,南京白局的历史与【南京调】实际并无关联。

Nanjing baiju is a folk rap art form that has been passed down in Nanjing and surrounding counties.In current government official reports,the history of Nanjing baiju is believed to be traced back to the Yuan Dynasty(over 700 years ago),and it is an ancient form of folk art that originated from the Yuan opera"Nanjing Diao"and has a"lingering charm of Yuan opera".But the author found through sorting that this discourse is a product of artificial construction,and the history of Nanjing baiju is not actually related to the"Nanjing Diao".
