This article explores how to better leverage the efficiency of data elements in the field of smart cities from the perspective of new urban infrastructure construction.It explains how the construction of new cities promotes the breadth,depth,precision,and correlation of urban data through data governance,and combines with the development and reform measures of data elements in Guangdong Province to illustrate the comprehensive application of data elements in different task fields of"new urban construction",thereby enhancing the efficiency of urban data.
