With the continuous progress of economic globalization and technological development,international cooperation in the field of mechanical engineering becomes increasingly frequent.Mastering specialized English in mechanical engineering is crucial for students to better understand and grasp advanced international technologies.The paper tries to focus on the research of the teaching model reform in mechanical engineering’s specialized English courses.Finally,it recommends a teaching reform plan based on the online teaching platform called rain classroom.The reform encompasses teaching methods,teaching content,assessment methods and other contents.The application of this plan in practice has achieved favorable results.The findings have certain reference significance for promoting innovation and development in teaching specialized English of mechanical engineering major.
