A villager checks drying chili peppers in Jinji Village,Dafang County,Guizhou Province,on September 13.In recent years,Dafang County has leveraged its favorable plateau climate to develop some 7,000 hectares of pepper fields,with an annual output value of more than 200 million yuan(US$27.39 million).The chili industry has become a key booster for local income increases.
