Objective To explore the clinical effect and mechanism of heat-sensitive moxibustion in the treatment of premature ventricular cardiomyopathy in adolescents. Methods 60 adolescent patients with premature ventricular cardiomyopathy were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine, and the observation group was treated with heat-sensitive moxibustion on the basis of the control group. The cardiac function indicators, heart rate, number of ventricular premature beats and levels of inflammatory factors were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the LVEF of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the LVESD,LVEDD,heart rate and number of ventricular premature beats were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of IL-6 and TNF-αof the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Heat-sensitive moxibustion in the treatment of premature ventricular cardiomyopathy in adolescents has exact effect, which is helpful to improve the cardiac function of patients and reduce the number of ventricular premature beats. The mechanism may be related to the improvement of inflammatory response by heat-sensitive moxibustion.
